About Us
The Bloodhound Society is an independent student organization established at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in the Fall of 2022. Our primary mission is to enhance student life by providing a wide range of activities and opportunities both on campus and in the surrounding community. We strive to create a lively and inclusive environment where students can engage in diverse social, educational, and recreational events.
As a social group dedicated to encouraging student activity and building connections, we aim to expand your social horizons and help you form meaningful, long-lasting relationships with your peers. Whether you're introverted or extroverted, we welcome everyone to join our community. Our goal is to support personal growth, foster connections among students, and enrich the overall college experience.
We organize a variety of events, workshops, and outings, including both school-sanctioned and our own private events. These events are open to everyone, regardless of membership status— the more, the merrier! Our activities are designed to cater to a wide range of interests and promote active participation in campus life, helping students make the most of their time at John Jay College and beyond.
Currently, the Bloodhound Society is led by President Michael Jaikaran, Vice President Dangelo Amichan, Treasurer Gabriela Samuels, and Secretary Christina Reed. We share a common goal: to make the Bloodhound Society an effective and official club at John Jay College, providing a platform for students to interact, hang out, and socialize both in person and through our WhatsApp group chat.
Our history is just beginning, and we can't wait for you to become a part of it. Join us on this adventure for laughter and good times!
